North Jutland

Introduction

North Jutland is famous for its coasts with broad beaches, beach towns and fishing villages, the magnificent landscape with old coastal cliffs, dunes, heath, moors and forest as well as the special light at the “top” of Skagen.

Walking Nordsøstien – part of the North Sea Trail

In North Jutland the Nordsøstien passes through many different natural and cultural environments. The coast’s only bird cliff is at Bulbjerg.

Transport options

Good roads and sailing routes provide easy access to North Jutland from the rest of Denmark and Europe.

Where can you sleep and eat

There is a wide range of options for accommodation along Nordsøstien, from primitive camps with shelters to small and large camp sites, hostels, hotels and pubs as well as private accommodation.
