Introduction

The North Sea Trail is also called Drivvejen in South Jutland. It runs south from Ribe through the region along several historic roads.

From Ribe, Drivvejen follows the low-lying agricultural landscape with the dikes towards Vadehavet on the horizon, past villages and churches before the route goes towards Skærbæk through forests with traces of old industry and military installations.

Transport options

Skærbæk and Tønder have train connections from the north from Esbjerg and Bramming and from the south from Niebüll and Hamburg.

There are places to stay along the route.
