Transport options

In spite of the fact that Nordsøstien sometimes passes through quite deserted areas, there are several options for the use of public transport.

At www.rejseplan.dk you can find information about train and bus connections.

Thanks to another EU project, North Sea Rural, there is also the possibility to use “VAFT tour for all” in ViborgCounty.

Broadly speaking this means that you can, for example, ask to be collected from one point on the walking-route where you leave your car and then be transported to another point on the walking-route from where you then walk back to your car.

This arrangement is cheaper than a normal taxi and the exact price is given when ordering.

The arrangement applies on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. and at weekends between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m..

See http://www.vaft.dk for further information
