Where can you sleep and eat

At the start of each section there is the possibility to put up your tent on a special tent site or at camp sites.

At each section start there are options to camp at specified sites or at camping sites. At more than half of the section starts you will find simple shelters. The shelters are closed on 3 sides and 6-8 people can sleep on their own mattress rolls, etc. protected from the wind and rain.

Some tent sites are public property and others are privately owned. The private sites have their own rules for staying and often provide access to a bath.

They have the right to ask DKr 20 per person sleeping on their site. This hardly covers the expenses of the site. Please therefore show consideration and be friendly to your hosts.

Along the route it is also possible to sleep in hostels, Bed & Breakfast, hotels etc.

In addition, there are a variety of restaurants or you can choose to enjoy your packed lunch at one of the many resting-places along the route.

On the homepage www.sjaellandsleden.dk you can find telephone numbers and addresses for service along the route.
