Walking the North Sea Trail

At present we have marked and prepared almost 60 km of North Sea Trails. You will find trails in connection with the Millennium Site in Gulen, several trails in Solund – one of them is way out at the Utvær lighthouse.

Korssundet i Fjaler has a trail of its own, and at Værlandet you see the starting point of a trail which ends way out at Bulandet. At Svanøya, too, they have prepared an inviting trail which runs from the landing and passes the old estate and the bailiff's farm.

We recommend that you also pay a visit to the island paradise on the coast outside Florø; take the local boat from the Florø quay, go ashore at Hovden and follow the trail to Kvanhovden lighthouse.

A nice way to round off your stay is to travel to Vågsberget and walk the North Sea Trail that leads you to Kannesteinen (the Pot Rock – a famous rock formation).

Have you never walked the North Sea Trail before? Go for a virtual walk on one of our trails on the Internet. Join us on the North Sea Trail at Korssundet in Fjaler.

The walk will take about four minutes!
