Hiking the North Sea Trail

All sections of the Dutch Coastal Path (LAW 5) in the North Sea Trail are linked up into the Netherlands’ longest connected hiking route.

The route passes through the provinces of Zeeland, Zuid- and Noord-Holland, Friesland and Groningen and is marked white-red in the field. The path also has additional signposts showing the North Sea Trail logo.

It is advisable to buy the accompanying route guides.

The North Sea Trail routes in the Netherlands are described in four Dutch guides, but with a summary and glossary of terms in English and German. The detailed maps are in any event a welcome addition to the signposting.
