The western Ox Trail is very close to the bus route Niebüll – Leck – Flensburg (buses every hour).

Ample parking is available both at the entrance points in Leck and in Enge-Sande.

Possibilities for bathing exist e.g. at the beach in Dagebüll (30 km from Leck/ 30 min. by car).

Furthermore there is a golf course situated directly adjacent to the western Ox Trail.
