You will find youth hostels in Scarborough, Whitby and Boggle Hole. For more information, visit the YHA website. The traditional industry here was fishing and Yorkshire is renowned for its Fish and Chips. Many restaurants and cafes specialise in serving local produce, with salmon from the River Esk, locally smoked kippers and crab sandwiches being the ‘taste of the North Sea Trail’ in the North York Moors. |
