Walking along the North Sea trail/Halland trail

The North Sea trail divides into a western and an eastern stretch in the middle of the county. It is also possible to connect to the trail from the coastal town of Varberg. In total it is a 380-km walking-tour.

The trail is well marked and easy to follow. It is mostly on small dirt roads but sometimes the
North Sea trail is just a small winding path through a mossy forest.

There are places to spend the night on the trail. Those who want a sensation
of wilderness choose to sleep in the timbered shelters at the trail’s resting-places.

If you want a roof over your head there are farmhouses and private rooms to rent (B&B).

Where the trail passes a small community, you can find several places to eat.

For more information about the trail and adjacent loops, see www.halland.se.
