Rail
There are rail links from all over the country to Scarborough, Whitby and Saltburn, with the picturesque EskValley railway operating between Middlesbrough and Whitby.

Coach
National Expressserves the region.

Bus
Coastliner runs buses from Leeds to Whitby and the Trail is well served with a good network of local bus services. See Yorkshire Travel website

Ferry
P&O North Sea Ferries serve Hull from Rotterdam and Zeebrugge. Take the ‘Ferrybus’ to Hull and then a train or bus to Scarborough.

DFDS ferries serve Newcastle from Kristiansand, Gothenburg and Amsterdam; and Fjordline from Bergen, Haugesund and Stavanger. Trains run from Newcastle to Darlington and York with connections to Whitby and Scarborough.

Air
